Purchased in 2002, this tandem axle Custom Fire engine is the primary response vehicle for most NGFD incidents, including: structure fires within the village and motor vehicle accidents. For these types of incidents E3 is equipped with 2500 gallons of water, ladders, saws, and extrication equipment. The open 5 man cab with an interior pump panel gives enough room to store electronic equipment, such as gas meter, radios, flashlights, and thermal imaging camera; all while keeping the engine operator out of the elements and traffic. |
